Welcome to Anne Sullivan Elementary School, a fourth and fifth-grade level center in Prospect Heights School District 23. There are approximately 320 students who attend Sullivan from the surrounding suburbs of Prospect Heights, Arlington Heights, Mount Prospect, and Wheeling. The staff at Anne Sullivan School works to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of each child. Our dedicated staff members are committed to working in partnership with our supportive parent community to meet the needs of our students.
I am excited to begin my tenth year at Anne Sullivan School! An Arlington Heights native, I attended Loyola University Chicago, where I earned my BA in English in 1996. I then earned my Master of Arts in Teaching from National Louis University in 2001, my National Board Certification in 2007, and my Master of Arts in Administration and Supervision from Concordia University in 2010. I worked in the Chicago Public Schools from 2001-2005 before joining District 39 in Wilmette. During my ten years in Wilmette, I was an elementary school teacher and middle school administrator.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and trying to keep up with my own grown children! My favorite pastimes include traveling, enjoying outdoor activities, attending Bears games and concerts, as well as reading, gardening, and cooking.
I look forward to working collaboratively with the staff, students, and parents during the 2024-25 school year to ensure our students have successful and rewarding 4th and 5th-grade experiences at Sullivan.
