NWHS Social Studies Teacher in Action!
Mr. Ficker leads his students in "Constitutional Debate Wednesdays." He introduces a topic, provides the background information, and then the students debate the issue in breakout rooms. Students have engaged in robust debates about topics ranging from impeachment, the First Amendment, and the Equal Rights Amendment.
