Setting Up Your Email Using Eudora

Eudora has been the de facto email application in District 23 for a long time, and is still darn good in OS X.
If Eudora is not already installed on your computer, contact tech to get it installed.

When Eudora is run for the first time, you will be presented with a few simple questions and eventually come to the "Getting Started" screen.  Below is an explanation of how to fill in this screen.

That's it!  Now you are ready to send and receive your email.  Of course, Eudora has a great deal of features and functions not covered here. One that I feel is worth mentioning is how to turn off the Ultra-Anoying new message sound and bouncing icon.  Both of which can be turned off by going into Preferences under the Eudora menu, selecting the Getting Attention section, and unchecking the respective boxes shown below.

A great resource on using Eudora is the Help menu or the official User's Guide which can be downloaded in PDF format HERE.
