Tutorial for Quia

1. Internet to www.quia.com
The first time you use this you must create an account.
Under the Quia Logo, go to New User and follow directions to
create an account. You only have to fill out information on red stared
items. It’s very easy.
(The next time you just have to log-in)
2. Go to Activity Manager
Click on--Create a new class page
(Mine is www.quia.com/pages/esld23.html)
After you have created your class page, you are ready to create activities and save them on to your page. Students can then go directly to your class page and do the activities. It’s so cool!
4. Return to Activity Manager
Right at the top of the page is a window for Create a new activity
click on window arrow, choose the kind of activity you want to create
and click go.
5. Important, after you create an activity, click submit you will return to Activity Manager.
6. Under Class Pages, you will see your page listed. Click on EDIT, go to Section 6.
In Section 6 you will see windows that say, Choose from list, Click on window arrow and your new activity will appear. Scroll to activity you want added and release mouse. Your activity will now appear in the window.
Important: scroll down to bottom of page and click on save changes.
7. You will return to Page Editor that will link you either to your
personal page or back to Activity Manager.
There are a number of games already on the Quia home page that you and your students can play.
