Pennies for Patients:  Did you know that U.S. paper money is not paper?  It’s cloth.  In Ben Franklin’s day, people repaired torn bills with a needle and thread!  Do you know what denomination Ben Franklin’s picture is on?  He’s on the $100 bill.  One hundred dollars in donations to LLS helps fund the First Connection Program, a peer-to-peer program that matches newly diagnosed patients and their families with trained volunteers.  With our donations, we’re making that happen!

Climate Council has recognized students for demonstrating positive character traits.   The following students have been nominated by students for an act of kindness: Caroline Pember, Charlotte Soller, Mrs. Skinner, Andy Rapp, Selena Cron and Jack Walton.

 

Attention Project LIT:  Don't forget we will meet in Mrs. Jordan's room Friday at 10:05 to discuss the end of Scythe and get our new books!  All 8th graders are welcome!
