- A guided reading group book is sent home weekly. Each book should be reread at home, and the signed reading log sheet returned to school the following day.
- Sight word cards are sent home with the guided reading books, as the words are introduced. Cards should be placed on the 'word ring' provided. Sight words should be practiced as often as possible.
- Jolly Phonics sounds sheet are sent home as the actions and sounds are introduced. These are to be practiced at home. The sheets do not need to be returned to school.
- Requests for pictionary pictures will be sent home weekly, as our letters of the week are introduced. These are due back by the date requested on the homework sheet. Please put pictures in an envelope with your child's name on it.
