Dear Parents and Teachers,
A short parent newsletter will come out each quarter to let you know how things are going in the Speech and Language Program and to forward ideas that can earn your child bonus points in various areas such as articulation, phonemic awareness, and language/pragmatic skills. This will give families a chance to help their children using the internet directly. This will insure carryover skills outside of the Speech and Language setting into the home. It will also encourage a collaboration between parents-teachers-students. Students will benefit greatly by learning to self-monitor and self regulate their skills in a variety of settings as we all become "the guides on the sides."
