After you and your partner have been assigned a category, you now need to select an individual on which to base your report.

1. Each person in your group will need to produce their own 1-2 page typed report, highlighting all of the important parts of the person's life, including 1 or 2 small pictures per report.

2.You and your partner need to decide which parts of his or her life each of you will cover, so you both don't research the same information. Some good areas to cover might include:  Birthplace, Family life, Education, Training, Awards Received, Greatest Personal Acheivements, Current Projects or Date of Death.

Here are a few suggestions in each of the major categories.  You may choose one of these famous African-Americans, or research another person after you have had your idea approved by your teacher.
