Prospect Heights School D23
Homework Club
Homework Club provides an opportunity for children to receive assistance completing their homework and catch up on their class work. It meets once per week for an hour after school and is supervised by four Betsy Ross certified teachers. An increase in individualized support allows all participants to be more successful. There is no cost associated with the program, as children are recommended by their classroom teachers and given parental permission to attend weekly.
Intramural Sports
Intramural sports is a free program for our 3rd grade students. It meets after school approximately twice per month on Tuesdays or Thursdays. During the club, various physical education activities provide students the opportunity to supplement the skills taught in P.E. class.
Campus Clean Up Crew
Campus Clean Up Crew is a student led club with the goal of keeping our school grounds litter free. Students have the opportunity to meet with club sponsors bimonthly during their recess to find and dispose of any litter on Betsy Ross School Grounds. Students learn the importance of recycling and also how to properly sort trash and recyclable materials.
S.T.E.A.M. Club
EPTO sponsers our after school S.T.E.A.M Club.  Both second and third grade students can explore science, technology, engineering, art and math as the build and experiment each week. Students must pre-register for each S.T.E.A.M Club session.
