Kindergarten students and 1st grade students will ride the same bus together and be dropped off in the main (west) lot at Eisenhower school. Second through fifth grade students will ride a bus together and be dropped off at Ross and Sullivan in front of the buildings.

How will I distinguish between buses picking up students in grades K-1 and buses picking up students in grades 2 – 5 in the neighborhood?

Buses picking up students in grades K – 1 will have letter designations in their windows. Buses picking up students in grades 2 – 5 will have number designations in their windows.

Will my kindergarten student be picked up at the house?

Kindergarten students will be picked up at the house unless there are other kindergarten or first grade students living in close proximity. If there are students living in close proximity, a center stop between homes will be established.  Parents/guardians or the designated adult will be required to be waiting with their students for pickup and waiting for their student at drop off.

Where will the students in grades 2 – 5 be picked up?

Students in grades 2 – 5 will be picked up and dropped at designated stops.

What about car riders?

Supervisors will be meeting each car and assisting students into and out of the vehicles so that parents do not need to park their cars. This will be the policy at Eisenhower, Ross and Sullivan schools. At each location, parents will be able to drop their child off at 8:15 AM. Students will be permitted to enter the building at that time. Parents will be sent detailed information and maps regarding the pick up and drop locations and process in August. Please note that pick-up at Ross will be temporarily stopped to allow four or five buses to exit the driveway used by cars. We ask parents to cooperate with the supervisors and wait for the buses to leave the parking lot.

What if I need to drop off my students at different schools?

If you have students who attend Ross and Sullivan, you may select the pick up and drop off zone of your choice. Students will be able to walk through the buildings to reach their classroom. If you have students at Eisenhower and the main campus, you may select your first drop-off location. There will be adult supervision beginning at 8:15 AM each morning. In the afternoon, supervisors will be with your child until 2:45 PM. Parents will be sent detailed information and maps regarding the pick up and drop locations and process in August.
