What back to school events will support student transitions?

This spring each building conducted building tours so that families could familiarize themselves with the new building and their new principal. Students will also receive a welcome letter in June from their new principal. In addition, the following events will occur in the fall for parents and students. These activities will be an additional opportunity for parents to ask questions or for students to become acquainted with new peers.

October 6:            Sullivan Open House and Ice Cream Social

October 11:            7th and 8th Grade Back to School Night

October 13:            Ross Open House and Ice Cream Social

October 20:            Eisenhower Open House and Ice Cream Social

Will there be any District sponsored programs I can attend?

With the assistance of our social workers, the District is planning a program entitled “Growth through Change.” This program will be held in September and will be open to all District 23 parents. More information will be available in August.
